About The Position

LKQ Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Checker to perform warehouse duties related to shipping and/or receiving. The role includes processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving warehouse stock. The employee may operate manual or powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. The position also coordinates employees under the hoist.

Requirements

• Around 5 years of warehouse experience, including at least 2 years dealing directly with inventory control.
• At least 2 years of experience in a lead role, supported by a stable and consistent job history.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, preferably Excel and Outlook.
• Strong aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate well with a diverse crew.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away inbound product in designated locations.
• Pick or pull the correct product from appropriate locations and deliver it to the staging area or delivery truck.
• Operate manual or powered equipment to transport product throughout the warehouse.
• Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
• Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate employees under the hoist.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
