About The Position

HB Specialty Foods is seeking a Warehouse CDL Driver to join their growing, family-owned company. This role is responsible for various warehouse duties, including transporting materials between warehouses, supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory control. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and ready to be part of a strong team in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Requirements

Must be hard working and able to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Must be punctual and self-motivated.
Ability to work individually and with a team.
Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including walking, standing, stooping and climbing.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without restriction, using proper safety methods.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Computer literacy required; must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and the Internet.
Demonstrated ability in basic mathematics.
Must be extremely detail oriented.
Must be able to work in a facility that handles allergens including, but not limited to: wheat, soy, egg, milk, celery and mustard.
Ability to work in open environments, exposed to pungent odors and varying climates.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid CDL – Class A.
Excellent driving record.

Prior CDL or material handing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently pull materials for transfer requests.
Move transfer trucks between warehouses safely.
Perform deliveries and off-site pickups.
Maintain daily tractor and trailer inspection logs.
Operate forklifts to move, pull, load and unload materials.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
Assist Inventory Control with performing cycle counts.
Use handheld scanning devices and inventory management system daily.
Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
