About The Position

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Case Picker in their Frankfort, Indiana Warehouse. This position offers weekly pay at $19.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for working the B Shift. The B Shift schedule is Friday and Saturday from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, and Monday and Tuesday from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment. Products being handled include Food Products. Equipment used includes an electric sit-down forklift, WMS, and scanner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Must have adequate math skills
• Able to recognize and read location codes and product codes
• Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

• Picking product and case pick.
• Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap product as required.
• Safely operate material handling equipment.
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
