About The Position

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a motivated and hard-working individual for a warehouse associate opening in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate is not afraid of heavy lifting in a non-climate-controlled environment, treats customers with respect, believes in teamwork, and is looking for a long-term career. This role involves unloading and inspecting incoming product (50-75lb), pulling, staging, and loading product for customers, providing deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed, and assisting with inventory and damage control.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license, with at least one year of driving experience
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement
• Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and a MVR that must meet Amarr driver standards
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines
• Demonstrated history of steady employment

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product (this can be between 50-75lb) mostly by hand
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service
• Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed
• Assist with inventory and damage control
