About The Position

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE / BACKUP DRIVER Position Purpose: Warehouse duties include using RF scanning system to stock and pull materials, equipment, and other items for shipping or delivery. Delivery Driving duties are as needed and include delivering material, product and equipment within the sales territory for the distribution center. MUST be over the age of 21 to drive; MUST have a Valid DL with clear 3-year Driving Record.

Requirements

Must have a clean 3-year driving history with no DWI
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Good knowledge of basic math and reading skills
Active listening skills in order to understand instructions
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable walking and standing for more than 80% of the work day.
Must be able to drive a sitdown forklift.
Ability to read a map and follow directions to customer sites
Driving: 1 year (Required)
Sitdown Forklift: 1 year (Required)
Warehouse: 1 year (Required)

Responsibilities

Stock material, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory of stock
Pull orders and stage material in shipping or delivery area in the warehouse, using work devices, such as hand-trucks, carts, pallet, jacks, and lift-trucks
Make deliveries as needed to customers in the sales territory in an efficient manner, minimizing the time away from the warehouse while driving the vehicle in a safe & courteous manner.
General housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in warehouse
Perform other duties as assigned
