About The Position

Emerson is hiring a Warehouse Auditor for its Olive Branch, Mississippi Distribution Center. The role focuses on ensuring picked products are accurate, quantities are correct, packaging is sufficient, and labels are appropriate. The auditor reviews, marks, labels, or relabels products and packaging; checks orders for damage and proper packing; maintains audit records; reports errors; and prepares items for shipment. The position requires working in a warehouse that may be hot or cold and meeting productivity and quality standards.

Requirements

At least six months of continuous warehouse work experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Clerical skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Data entry proficiency and basic computer skills.
Problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail.
A strong sense of urgency and the ability to work quickly while meeting productivity and quality standards.
Willingness to work in a warehouse environment with heat and cold.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
Ability to lift parts weighing more than 50 pounds, with assistance when needed, and to frequently bend, squat, reach, push, pull, grasp, stretch, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Inspect picked items for accuracy, damage, and appropriate packaging.
Visually review materials and cartons.
Pack and seal cartons for shipping, ensuring products and packaging are damage-free.
Verify that the correct products and quantities are picked and proper packing procedures are followed.
Maintain accurate records of audited products.
Report errors to the appropriate authorities.
Prepare items for shipment.
Follow safety policies and procedures.
Work efficiently while meeting productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness standards.
