About The Position

The Warehouse Inventory Control Auditor role is based in our Avondale, Arizona Distribution Center and is a Full Time, Weekday Shift position in the Picking/Packing Outbound Department. The schedule for the role is Monday - Friday – 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with potential for overtime. This position performs tasks associated with inventory control in the Distribution Center while meeting safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and behavioral expectations. The role effectively and efficiently uses established procedures, tools, equipment (including RF Scanners), and technologies to complete assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Must be able to safely perform assigned warehouse functions utilizing established processes, procedures and tools while meeting performance expectations for safety, quality, productivity and attendance.
  • Must comply with Vitamin Shoppe’s policies, guidelines and procedures as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA requirements in the storage, handling and movement of product.
  • Must perform inventory cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Must perform bin audits to ensure correct quantity and product in audited locations.
  • Must account for damages and expirations as they occur.
  • Must perform inventory lookup for item availability as required by special orders.
  • Must restock customer as well as store returns that are saleable.
  • Must maintain all records and data to support any adjustments made to inventory.
  • Must perform necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
  • Must inform Process Manager or Lead of any problems and actively participates in process improvements.
  • Basic Slotting Understanding.
  • Ability to assist in other areas of the Distribution Center as assigned.
