About The Position

The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing all materials within the warehouse. This role requires a high school graduate or GED, at least 18 years old, with one year of warehouse experience and forklift certification. The position involves various physical demands, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to fifty pounds, as well as specific vision abilities. Strong language and mathematical skills are necessary, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The work environment can be moderately noisy, increasing to loud in some areas, and requires flexibility in scheduling due to business needs.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • One (1) year experience with warehouse functions
  • Must be certified to operate a forklift
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Loads and unloads delivery trucks.
  • Designates and organizes the warehouse stock by product line and by physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow.
  • Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and work areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Organizes and separates product as it enters the warehouse.
  • Verifies inventory levels by matching physical counts with assumed product counts.
  • Performs quality assurance inspections when appropriate.
  • Demonstrates consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues and the Company by being engaged, interested and productive.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assists in building the best practices necessary for the Company’s success.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the impact actions and decisions have on the Company both financially and on guest relations.
  • Demonstrates the initiative to present new ideas and perspective to create positive results.
  • Exhibits respectful consideration of viewpoints, situations and others.
  • Puts the guest at the forefront of every decision.
