Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in team environment.
  • Must be able to work various shifts or overtime as needed to support production

Nice To Haves

  • Six to Twelve (6-12) months of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling preferred.
  • Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or other material handling equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and check incoming materials, verifying identity, quantity, and condition.
  • Store and organize materials in designated areas, ensuring inventory accuracy and accessibility.
  • Deliver raw materials, parts, and components to production areas as required.
  • Maintain assigned storage areas in a neat, orderly, and safe condition.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, aisle stackers, dollies, and other powered or manual material handling equipment.
  • Operate overhead cranes from booth or floor controls to move heavy materials and equipment as required.
  • Perform daily equipment inspection and basic preventative maintenance on assigned vehicles.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records, including packing slips, bills of lading, shipping/receiving forms, and inventory logs.
  • Assist with cycle counts and other inventory control activities to support accuracy and efficiency.
  • Report shortages, defects, or non-standard material conditions to supervision promptly.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines related to warehouse operations.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with 5S principles.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team-driven problem-solving.
