About The Position

A Warehouse attendant is responsible for loading/unloading products of varying size and weight on to/off of company truck when needed by hand or electric pallet jack or use of other equipment. The role involves checking product and associated paperwork for accuracy, inspecting product for damage/quality, transferring goods between onsite warehouse facilities using a company truck, and ensuring safe operation of the truck and equipment. The attendant will also be responsible for re-packing airline equipment, participating in inventory counts, and maintaining the cleanliness and mechanical condition of company vehicles. This position requires adherence to company policies, effective communication, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Up to one-year experience preferred
  • Driver license required
  • Work assigned schedule which may vary and could include weekends and holidays
  • Work overtime when required
  • Arrive to work on-time
  • Must comply with company policies
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during shift.
  • Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

  • Loading/unloading products of varying size and weight on to/off of company truck by hand or electric pallet jack or use of other equipment.
  • Checking product and associated paperwork to ensure accuracy of load and delivery.
  • Inspecting product for damage/quality.
  • Reporting any damage or quality issues to immediate supervisor.
  • Transferring goods between onsite warehouse facilities using company truck.
  • Unloading goods and transferring them to the appointed storage area within the warehouse facility upon delivery to destination.
  • Driving and operating the company truck and all other equipment used in a safe manner and in accordance with all OSHA and company rules and policies.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of company truck and reporting any mechanical issues/damage immediately to direct supervisor.
  • Re-packing of airlines equipment to customer specifications.
  • Participating in inventory cycle counts.
  • Following directions.
  • Working as a member of a team.
  • Completing paperwork and related administrative duties.
