About The Position

This role is responsible for managing the movement of product within the warehouse and onto customer trucks, ensuring adherence to all relevant procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both warehouse and production areas. The position requires a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, and efficient operations.

Requirements

High School Diploma
General background with Warehouse Operations
Forklift certification or willingness to learn
Attention to detail
Understands basic safety procedures
Team Player

Responsibilities

Movement of product from the production floor to the warehouse and into customer trucks.
Handling of hazardous materials according to proper procedures.
Reporting and managing environmental incidents, including spills.
Data entry and paperwork to maintain an efficient warehousing system.
Minimizing waste and preventing pollution.
Performing inventories of raw materials and production products.
Loading and unloading of railcars and trailers.
Stretch wrapping and stacking products correctly and without damage.
Performing duties efficiently without damaging company equipment.
Scheduling inbound and outbound freight in the absence of a supervisor.
Maintaining standard housekeeping duties and keeping the work area clean.
Performing assignments according to standards and staying in assigned work areas.
Following work instructions and providing/receiving constructive feedback.
Utilizing spare time and clean-up time constructively to maintain warehouse and equipment condition.
Promoting teamwork with all employees and departments.
Following all food safety guidelines on the manufacturing floor.
Reporting deviations from food safety protocols.
Ensuring supply chain partners are aware of their food safety obligations.
