Warehouse Attendant and Driver Non CDL
About The Position
The Gustave A. Larson Company is seeking a Warehouse Attendant/Driver (Non-CDL) to join their team. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and delivery driving. The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused, motivated team player with a commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to think on their feet. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse roles.
- Clean driving record.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Solid communication skills and receptive to direct supervision.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime required.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and walk/stand/stoop throughout the day.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid FedMed card.
- Must be skilled in verbal and written communication and have sufficient education to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must have basic math skills and be able to perform or learn the requirements of the job within the assigned learning period.
- Required to accept and follow all safety rules and policies, including the use of all mandated safety protective equipment.
- Individual must agree to take pre-employment drug test and background check and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Good safety record.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in warehouse receiving, shipping, and pulling refill orders for multiple locations.
- Drive to branches in Owensboro and Evansville to drop off refill orders.
- Transport and deliver parts and equipment to customers and/or job sites.
- Transport materials within the warehouse.
- Operate and assist in regular maintenance of an electric-powered forklift.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Pull refill/order memos, stocking, data entry, and checking products to be shipped against shipping orders.
