About The Position

OnTrac is hiring Package Handlers to support warehouse operations. Package Handlers contribute to smooth warehouse operations by working safely, maintaining quality, and helping create a productive and secure work environment. The role involves unloading trailers, sorting packages by ZIP code, and loading trucks for delivery. Employees work as part of a team and must be able to remain on their feet and handle items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Warehouse temperatures vary by season, so the job requires working in both heat and cold.

The position is part-time at the Stamford, Connecticut site. Available schedules are Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, from 2:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., or until the sort and required cleanup are complete. Hours may vary based on business needs. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stay on your feet while working.
• Ability to work in heat and cold, as warehouse temperatures vary by season.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers.
• Sort packages by ZIP code.
• Load trucks for deliveries.
• Follow safety protocols and prioritize workplace safety.
• Work cooperatively with the team to complete the work.
• Complete required sort work and cleanup as directed by site management.
