The main responsibilities of this role will include loading/unloading shipments, organizing shipments, verifying shipment accuracy, making weekly deliveries, maintaining an inventory of stock, and filling orders.
Requirements
- Stage, load, and unload materials
- Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments by examining contents and comparing them with manifests or packing lists
- Weekly deliveries
- Notify the Warehouse Manager of any problems, such as damages or shortages
- Observe and follow all safety standards and processes
- Propose process improvements; implement methods that improve efficiency/effectiveness and reduce costs
