Warehouse Associate
About The Position
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position responsible for various warehouse duties including order fulfillment, shipping preparation, and equipment operation. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and adherence to safety procedures and company policies. The work environment involves standing and walking on concrete for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 70 pounds with material handling equipment. Employees may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Stable employment record, including good attendance
- Basic computer skills with data input and order filling accuracy
- Superior attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision
- Regularly required to stand and walk on concrete for an extended period of time, bend, kneel, use hands and arms
- Must regularly move up to 70 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts in an open warehouse environment
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Pull, check and verify customers’ orders
- Prepare and route merchandise for shipment
- Pack and ship orders via UPS, FedEx, Truck Line or Courier
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Work safely and meet the requirements of all safety procedures and rules
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
