Warehouse Associate, Stone Mountain - Part Time
About The Position
As a Warehouse Colleague, you help create a seamless, customer-focused experience behind the scenes by receiving, storing, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping merchandise. You handle items with care and attention to detail, follow safety practices, and help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running smoothly. The role contributes to on-time delivery and excellent service while fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace. This is a part-time role. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week, with hours dependent on business needs and colleague availability. The job requires flexible availability across days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
Requirements

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, switch between multiple tasks, and work various shifts.
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
- Proficiency using computers and handheld technology.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors, and to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cartons and merchandise from delivery trucks, conveyor systems, and other equipment.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages on a continuous and repetitive basis while sorting and organizing merchandise.
- Complete processing, receiving, and shipping activities on time and in accordance with productivity standards.
- Accurately enter data using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, and similar devices, and learn area-specific functions across warehouse and proprietary systems.
- Perform job functions safely and promptly report accidents or safety hazards to the safety committee.
- Prepare for shifts by wearing a name badge, following the dress code, attending start-ups, checking work areas, knowing who is providing support, and staying informed about daily goals.
- Prioritize customers by working quickly and accurately, handling merchandise with care, and packing customer orders thoughtfully and neatly.
- Build a hospitable and supportive workplace by greeting coworkers, starting conversations, building trust, assisting new teammates, and supporting colleagues.
- Finish shifts by tidying the workstation, returning equipment, replenishing supplies, and recognizing coworkers' contributions.
- Foster acceptance and respect and strengthen relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.
