About The Position

Responsible for performing daily warehouse tasks such as order fulfillment processing, vendor receiving processing, quality inspections, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer terminal. Some warehouse functions require the use of automated packaging equipment, automated inventory handling equipment, other automated machinery, electronic tools, hand-held tools and/or fork trucks. Employees using tools, automated machinery/equipment, and fork trucks will be provided with proper training and safety devices. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED)
  • High school students will be permitted to work prior to graduation if they are 18 or older
  • A valid driver’s license is required if the employee will be transporting goods by car or truck
  • Onsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery, or equipment
