About The Position

Famous is seeking positive, growth-oriented, high-performers for a Warehouse Associate position. This role is with a purpose-driven organization that has a family culture. Warehouse associates are responsible for various tasks including unloading trucks, receiving and putting away material, picking and staging customer orders, and loading delivery trucks. Associates will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces, and showers. The company emphasizes a strong culture through its 40 Fundamentals and a family atmosphere.

Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hour day
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be lawfully authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience
• Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
• Experience working in a warehouse
• Experience using RF Scanners

Responsibilities

• Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damage
• Attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks are done accurately
• Keeping warehouse clean, neat and organized
• Unloading trucks
• Receiving material
• Put-away of material
• Picking customer orders
• Staging customer orders for delivery
• Loading customer delivery trucks
