About The Position

Würth Baer Supply Company is seeking a full-time, direct-hire Warehouse Associate for their branch in Indianapolis, IN. This position operates Monday-Friday during day shift hours. The associate will work alongside the warehouse manager in a small team environment, with other employees being delivery drivers. The role requires strong warehouse experience and a willingness to perform various warehouse duties as needed. The company is a leading specialty wholesale distributor to the woodworking industry, with significant annual revenue and a broad operational footprint.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
1+ year of warehouse experience (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, loading/unloading trucks)
Good communication skills
Basic computer knowledge
Forklift experience

Responsibilities

Picking (primarily on foot with a cart), packing, shipping/receiving, loading/unloading, checking in materials, put-aways/stocking materials, forklift operation (sit-down propane), palletizing, skid wrapping, team and individual lifting, cleaning/general housekeeping, and other warehouse duties as needed.
An essential function of this role requires employees to lift and lower packages that may weigh up to 70 pounds. Attention to safety is vital, the use of proper lifting and lowering techniques should be used at all times (adjust your body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, and pivot). You may also need to become accustomed to the fluctuating temperatures in which you will perform your duties. As this position is customer-facing, an excellent customer focus attitude is critical for success.
