About The Position

The Bargreen Ellingson weekend crew is looking for experienced warehouse workers. Plenty of opportunities to learn and grow from order picking, item put away, receiving, and inventory control. Coming in with a great attitude and work ethic will put you on the path to promotion. We like to promote within the company. The position is Friday through Sunday 7am to 8pm which provides 4 days off a week. 1 hour lunch (non-paid) and 15 minute breaks (paid) throughout your shift. Wage range is $20 to $21 per hour. Benefits include vacation, floating holidays, sick leave, 401k eligibility, medical, dental and employee morale boosting events (we call hooplas). The Weekend team also hosts our own potlucks so if you know your way around a kitchen, you are encouraged to bring a delicious dish. This is an environment for anyone and everyone to grow in! Manager note: I work weekends and only respond to applications during work hours. Do not feel discouraged if you haven't heard back from me. I will mostly respond on Fridays and Saturdays.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or Equivalent
Regular attendance is necessary with possibility for mandatory overtime.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Desire to succeed in a high growth, fast-paced retail environment
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

Load truck accurately and safely.
Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.
Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse.
Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material.
Maintain clear aisles and walkways.
Ensure material is properly organized.
Assist in maintaining appearance of branch as needed.
Clean warehouse, counter area, bathrooms, etc.
Know location of merchandise in warehouse.
Keep material organized and put away.
Continuously update product knowledge.
Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability.
Know location of merchandise in warehouse.
Participate in ongoing education and training as directed or desired.
Answer telephones professionally and pleasantly, assisting customers, taking orders and providing excellent customer service.
Notate back orders or discrepancies.
Perform cycle counts as required following through on discrepancies as needed.
Participate in weekend inventory events as scheduled.
Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed.
Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed.
Assist in performance of year-end physical inventories for various branch locations.
Depending on specific role, may occasionally be required to make deliveries or pickups.
Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules.
Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
Perform other responsibilities as directed.
