About The Position

The Cake Bake Shop is a fast emerging brand that has become a destination for many to celebrate the special occasions in their life. At The Cake Bake Shop our goal is to provide a magical and one of a kind experience to each and every guest, and the Warehouse Associate plays an integral role in accomplishing this mission. This individual interacts with all levels of the organization and with customers receiving delivery orders. It is important that this person be positive and have excellent customer service skills, with great attention to detail. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for having a hand in all warehouse activities, deliveries, and seasonal decor, as directed by their direct supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid drivers license
• Previous experience in an warehouse environment preferred
• Forklift certified, or the ability to obtain a forklift certification
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal skills, and professionalism
• Clean driving record
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds on a daily basis
• Strong time management skills
• Adaptability and accountability

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an warehouse environment
• Forklift certified, or the ability to obtain a forklift certification

Responsibilities

• Assist with all warehouse activities
• Ensure efficient warehouse operations
• Maximize warehouse and shipping productivity
• Receiving shipments
• Assisting with shopping/packaging as needed
• Acting as a delivery driver for both company locations and external customers
• Assisting with seasonal decor changes
