About The Position

Steinhafels Furniture has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate at our Waukesha Distribution Center. You will work together, with the rest of our team, to load semi trailers of our merchandise within the warehouse. The Warehouse Associate position is also responsible for assisting customers with their order pick ups and loading merchandise into customer vehicles. This is a full time position and does require availability on either Saturday or Sunday. Steinhafels, founded in 1934, is an employee-owned, family-run company. Requirements

• Frequent walking and bending.
• Ability to lift furniture varying between 15lbs and 150lbs.
• Ability to use a variety of power tools.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast paced, team atmosphere.
• Ability to be flexible as priorities change.
• Able to add value in multiple areas of our Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

• Loading semi trailers of merchandise within the warehouse.
• Assisting customers with their order pick ups.
• Loading merchandise into customer vehicles.
• Loading furniture in our delivery trucks.
• Assisting customers in our merchandise pick up department.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
