About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Package Handler to join its warehouse operations team in Smyrna, Georgia. The role contributes to the smooth functioning of the warehouse through package unloading, sorting, and truck loading, with an emphasis on quality, safety, and teamwork. The position pays $16.50 per hour. Hours may vary based on business needs, and an “End of Sort” shift continues until required sorting and cleanup work is complete as directed by site management.

Available schedules are Saturday through Wednesday, 3:00 AM to 7:30 AM or until End of Sort, and Thursday through Sunday, 3:00 AM to 7:30 AM or until End of Sort. The role requires standing throughout the work, working in seasonal heat and cold, and regularly lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Applicants must be at least 18 and have basic spoken and written English proficiency to understand safety and operational instructions in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic spoken and written English proficiency sufficient to understand safety and operational instructions in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to stay on your feet while working.
• Ability to work in warehouse heat and cold as temperatures vary by season.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers.
• Sort packages by ZIP code.
• Load trucks for deliveries.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe, productive work environment.
• Work cooperatively with the team to get the job done.
