About The Position
DASCO is growing and has been voted one of the top places to work in Columbus CEO magazine for multiple years. This is a temporary position where the Warehouse Associate will accurately pick, pack, and ship orders to meet DASCO’s goal of customer service excellence. The role also involves ordering, receiving, and stowing inventory, logging shipping information, tracking shipments, and responding to shipping and inventory-related inquiries from fellow employees.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Six months’ experience in a pick/pack/ship setting.
Responsibilities
- Picks, packs and ships orders daily, accurately and timely to remain current on order fulfillment.
- Receives and stows inventory.
- Logs shipping information per policy and procedure.
- Tracks shipments as needed per customer or DASCO associate request.
- Reorders inventory to meet normal inventory needs.
- Works in cooperation with the Director of Supply Chain as needed to maintain and manage local supply inventory.
- Observes all applicable safety procedures, especially in the use of warehouse equipment.
- Complies with all patient confidentiality rules, such as HIPAA and any other applicable regulations.
- Maintains an organized warehouse system.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
