About The Position

Daniels Health and MCF Environmental Services partner together to create safe Medical Waste Disposal Services. We are looking to hire an associate for our medical waste treatment facility in Ellenwood, GA. This associate has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

Requirements

Must have a VALID driver's license!!
Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
Willingness to take a 7 year background check
Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
Proven longevity with employers
Can-do attitude!!

Responsibilities

Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
Working well with a team!
