About The Position

This position is responsible for performing all aspects of shipping, receiving, and inventory management within the warehouse. The role requires operating forklifts and other equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing materials, and ensuring efficient workflow. The associate must adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in warehousing preferred.
  • Previous experience on forklift and power equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Skill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the job.
  • Skill in multitasking and time management.
  • Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments.
  • Ability to keep company and customer information confidential.
  • Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded correctly and in a timely manner, completing all steps before releasing the truck.
  • Report any damages or defaults with the forklift immediately to the team lead.
  • Move production supplies to and from storage areas using task sheets, forklifts, or hand jacks to maintain production flow.
  • Maintain accurate inventory.
  • Conduct random location audits and cycle counts.
  • Organize materials in production and warehouse areas, keeping them neat and clean.
  • Identify potential problems or issues that arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
