About The Position

AlarMax Distributors, Inc. is a leading national distributor of low-voltage electronics, offering professional products and solutions in security, surveillance, fire alarm, access control, networking, AV, and more. We are known for our customer-focused service, knowledgeable staff, and dependable product availability. This position is currently in our Fulfillment Center in the Strip District but we will be relocating to the Cranberry area in the next couple of months. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing products. This role supports the warehouse team with tasks such as receiving shipments, picking and packing orders, organizing inventory, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Previous warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience preferred
Basic computer skills; ability to learn inventory systems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team
High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience or certification a plus (or willingness to be trained)

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory accurately
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and best practices
Communicate effectively with team members and branch staff
Perform other duties as assigned by management
