About The Position

Veterinary Purchasing Co. Ltd. (VP) is seeking motivated individuals to join their Operations team as Full-Time Warehouse Associates. Under the general direction of the Order Process Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, and Warehouse Coordinators, the Warehouse Associate performs a variety of duties related to picking, verifying, packing, and shipping customer orders. Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Strong written & verbal communication
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Walk/stand for the entirety of their shift
Lift up to 50lbs, as needed
Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
Conducts self with regard for the safety of employees; is aware of safety and evacuation procedures
Report any health & safety violations or hazards to a Supervisor, Coordinator, or Manager
Follow and understand all relevant Standard Operating Procedures with respect to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Responsibilities

Pick and verify product orders to ensure accuracy
Pack orders to ensure product is not damaged during transport and that all shipping labels are applied, as required
Maintain warehouse to ensure that product is available and that shelves are neat and free of excess packaging material and debris
Complete daily warehouse preparation jobs, as assigned
Understand and follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures as required
Other duties as assigned
