This position is responsible for general warehouse operations such as organizing/cleaning the workspace, refilling stock, general safety and learning the technical items of the trade.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of one year experience in warehouse experience. (Required)
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of toolboxes, equipment, parts, tools, equipment, cabling, and/or wiring
  • Frequent ladder climbing and checking, pulling wire, etc.
  • Walking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, and raising hands overhead

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with inventory software
  • Forklift certification (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control
  • Comfortable with inventory paperwork and basic computer use
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Perform all shipping
  • General warehouse operations
  • Receiving freight, operating a forklift, and stocking the warehouse
  • Perform all inventory counts and maintain inventory stock levels
  • Check in orders and stock all inventory items
  • Maintain adequate shipping supplies
  • Keep shop organized and clean
  • Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up, quotes, questions, or concerns
  • Maintain equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job
  • Perform other duties assigned by management
  • Handle all warehouse parts and materials
  • Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments
  • Unbox and organize products accurately
  • Pick, pack, and ship outgoing orders
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and paperwork
  • Perform regular cycle counts and quarterly inventory counts
  • Requires the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Requires the ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
  • Requires the ability to use or repair small/light equipment, such as power tools, ladders, medium equipment and machinery
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy
  • Performs other duties as assigned
