Warehouse Associate - Phoenix
About The Position
PrimeSource Building Products Inc. is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for their Phoenix location. This role involves receiving, storing, picking, loading, and distributing building supply products within the Distribution Center. The associate will operate industrial trucks like forklifts and order pickers to move materials. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime as needed.
Requirements

- Schedule flexibility, including overtime as necessary to meet customer expectations.
- High School Diploma or GED education, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including moving 560 units daily, with an average weight of 30 pounds (70 times per hour).
- Ability to handle repetitive motion, including properly handling up to 50 pounds, reaching low to the ground, and performing left-right movements.
- Understanding of fall protection device weight limitations (310 lbs).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with driving a forklift or cherry picker equipment.
- Experience with DC equipment.
- Up to one month of related experience or training.
Responsibilities
- Transporting materials to and from receiving, storage, and production areas using lifting devices.
- Sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to product code or other sequences.
- Pulling customer orders from stock, placing them on pallets, and transporting them to the packing station, shipping department, or directly to trucks.
- Tracking customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to meet daily goals.
- Verifying the accuracy and product quality of items received and loaded for delivery.
- Participating in annual physical inventory and product counts, ensuring accurate labels or tags.
