About The Position
As a Warehouse Associate at Durvet, you'll play an important role in delivering products to customers safely, accurately, and efficiently. Team members have opportunities to work in multiple areas throughout our 190,000-square-foot distribution center, performing a variety of hands-on tasks including order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and equipment operation. If you enjoy staying active, working with a close-knit team where you're known by name, and taking pride in a job well done, this role is for you.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to remain on your feet and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Willingness to follow directions and meet productivity expectations
- Commitment to workplace safety
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment center, shipping and receiving environment, or operating RF scanners or forklifts is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately for shipment
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Organize and replenish inventory to support workflow
- Use RF scanners and warehouse systems with attention to detail
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment following company training and certification
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with other warehouse duties as business needs require
