About The Position

Cardinal Health's Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This includes functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The role also ensures the efficient flow of products from the point of receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to various customers, meeting prescribed service parameters. Warehouse team members play a crucial role in ensuring customers have the products they need to care for patients.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working with heights of 20-30 ft regularly.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, is a plus.
High School Diploma/GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty, such as order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
