About The Position

This role is responsible for performing various duties including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, and managing inventory within the warehouse. The Warehouse Associate will schedule the distribution of goods, prepare shipping documents, perform manual and computerized inventory control, maintain internal record-keeping systems, route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods for shipment, and unpack received goods. The role also involves overseeing the loading and unloading of goods, performing all job functions safely and professionally, and displaying a clear understanding and administration of company policies. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to independently and as part of a team
Strong leadership skills
Passion towards learning

Frequent heavy lifting
Forklift Operator Certification is an asset

Responsibilities

Schedule distribution of goods; prepare bills of lading, invoices & other shipping documents
Perform manual & computerized inventory control
Maintain internal record keeping system, record shortages & reject damaged goods
Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received
Oversee loading & unloading of goods
Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
Perform other duties as assigned
Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed
