About The Position

Our NWI Auto Supply location in Merrillville, IN is seeking hard-working individuals to join our warehouse team! If you're reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to roll up your sleeves, we want to hear from you! We are taking applications for Full-Time positions for a warehouse associate. The Picker is responsible for accurately selecting merchandise from warehouse shelves and preparing orders for shipment. This is a fast-paced, physically active role that requires standing, walking, and moving throughout the workday. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, energetic, and able to work efficiently in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate enjoys staying active, pays close attention to detail, and can maintain productivity while on their feet for extended periods.

Requirements

• Must be over the age of 18 years old
• Pass background check and limited drug screen
• Able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Pulling customer orders using handheld scanners
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks
• Lifting, stacking, wrapping, and securing parts for shipment to other locations
• Must be open to learning different jobs and tasks
• The position includes long periods of standing and moderate lifting
• Report product damage and safety concerns promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
