About The Position

Works in the Raw Goods or Finished Goods warehouse in support of Supply Chain, Production and/or Customer Service. The primary focus is to support the Supply Chain and Production by receiving, storing, moving and distributing material/product, and/or to support Customer Service by moving, packaging and shipping orders for customers.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Proven experience and able to drive electric forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly
  • Tech savvy (ability to enter data and communicate on various platforms)
  • Ability to work and thrive under time constraints and juggle/prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree from college or technical school preferred
  • 3-5 year prior experience or training preferred
  • Equivalent combination of schooling and experience accepted

Responsibilities

  • Reads production schedule, work order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Conveys materials and items from Raw Goods to Production areas or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Arranges materials in specified sequence for use by other workers.
  • Uses computer, barcode scanner and/or other devices to record material transactions.
  • Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
  • Maintains inventory records on paper and/or in ERP system.
  • Reads customer order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or packaged for distribution.
  • Conveys product and items from production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station.
  • Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
  • Prepares parcels for mailing.
  • Support Warehouse Supervisor in any/all warehouse activities and programs necessary for developing the desired company culture.
  • Support Our Recipe by demonstrating a positive, team-oriented and customer focused attitude.
