About The Position

The Warehouse Associate (WA) acts as a line coordinator, skilled in operating necessary forklifts or material handling equipment within their assigned department. The WA is responsible for pulling reports, coordinating parts to production lines, and is proficient in all warehouse operator (or shipping operator) tasks, capable of filling in for operator positions during absences. This role is a specialist position within a specific department.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • Ability to regularly lift 25-50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for 95% of work days
  • Ability to pass a drug test/background check

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 6 months forklift driving experience, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Responsibilities

  • Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency
  • Securing loads to the machine before transportation
  • Inspect product load for accuracy and safely navigate around the warehouse or facility
  • Perform a variety of routine tasks to assist in production activities
  • Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles
  • Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas
  • Arrange sheet metal in warehouse
