Warehouse Associate
About The Position
Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including loading and unloading trailers, verifying loads, and maintaining the shipping yard. The associate will also be responsible for counting and checking products for accuracy and quality, maintaining records, and participating in inventory counts. Additionally, the role involves operating material handling equipment and troubleshooting packing equipment issues. Requirements
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time
- Comfortable in a warm working environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 Years of shipping experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Accurately loading and unloading trailers
- Verifying route load(s) and trailer reports
- Maintaining the shipping yard
- Counting and checking products for accuracy and quality
- Maintaining accurate records
- Reporting overages and shortages
- Participating in "Cycle Counts"
- Operating material handling equipment, including pallet jack and forklift
- Troubleshooting issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, and palletizers
