About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing various warehouse functions related to pulling inventory and preparing it for shipment, loading and unloading trucks and containers, putting received inventory away, securing orders on pallets, moving pallets, and forklift operation. To grow and build a successful career with Wesco Turf + Hector Turf, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move pallets and boxes, unloading inventory from trucks, pulling and staging inventory for customer pick up, delivery by truck, or other means, assisting with the inventory receiving process and inventory cycle counts as needed, verifying pick tickets with outgoing inventory, supporting back up for UPS Shipping Station, and assisting in preparing orders for shipping by truck or other means.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous related experience a strong plus
• Possess current forklift certification
• Ability to read and speak English fluently
• Ability to routinely lift, carry, push or pull heavy items
• Ability to operate a forklift to move pallets

Responsibilities
