About The Position

The Warehouse Associate performs receiving, stocking, replenishment, picking, and inventory tasks in a warehouse environment. The role uses warehouse management and picking systems to process product safely and accurately, while meeting established productivity and quality standards. The position may involve loud noise and temperature or weather extremes, as well as extended daily hours and holiday work when required by business volume and the posted schedule.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain forklift certification within six months of hire.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work extended daily hours as business volume requires.
Ability to work all holiday hours required by the posted schedule.

Certified forklift operator.

Responsibilities

Unload pallet- or floor-loaded inbound containers.
Receive and label product accurately using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld RF equipment.
Move product safely and accurately to inventory stock locations using handheld RF equipment.
Move product from reserve locations to picking locations while meeting productivity and efficiency standards.
Read and apply picking labels to cases for outbound orders.
Move product from inventory stock locations to staging lanes or conveyor induct stations.
Follow RF- or voice-directed picking instructions and select the required products and quantities.
Participate in physical inventory counts.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment and report breakage to a supervisor immediately.
Maintain productivity and quality standards and meet established goals and objectives.
Follow safety policies and procedures, communicate hazards, and suggest improvements to a manager.
Arrive on time for work and scheduled work-related meetings, appointments, and functions.
Perform other duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned by a supervisor or management.
