About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while maintaining a strong commitment to customer service and accuracy. This role performs essential tasks such as material handling, order fulfillment, and inventory control in a high-volume environment. Warehouse Associates are expected to follow established procedures, uphold safety and quality standards, and actively contribute to a clean and efficient warehouse operation.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse and forklift experience required.
  • Valid driver's license required for business travel between locations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate across all levels of the organization and with customers.
  • Safely lift, carry, push, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and other environmental elements.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods while performing warehouse and material handling duties.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach, push, pull, and climb to safely perform essential job functions.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse or material handling equipment, as authorized and required.
  • Maintain attention to detail and consistently follow established safety procedures in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Visually inspect materials, read labels and inventory information, and accurately complete required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to understand work instructions, complete assignments, and collaborate professionally with team members.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience loading and securing flatbed trailers preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and ship materials in alignment with customer expectations and order requirements.
  • Load and unload truck orders while following safety protocols and material handling best practices.
  • Store materials properly within designated warehouse racking and storage locations.
  • Conduct routine and accurate cycle counts to support inventory integrity.
  • Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse and yard environment.
  • Operate forklifts and related warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Provide occasional support to other customer locations by driving and assisting when required.
