About The Position

Würth Baer Supply Company is seeking a full-time, direct-hire Warehouse Associate for their Indianapolis, IN branch. This role involves working alongside the warehouse manager in a small team environment, with other employees being delivery drivers. The position requires strong warehouse experience and a willingness to perform various warehouse duties. The daily duties include picking, packing, shipping/receiving, loading/unloading, checking in materials, put-aways/stocking materials, forklift operation (sit-down propane), palletizing, skid wrapping, team and individual lifting, and general housekeeping. An essential function of this role requires employees to lift and lower packages that may weigh up to 70 pounds, with attention to safety and proper lifting techniques. A customer focus attitude is critical for success as this position is customer-facing. The role also involves standing for 3 to 4 hours at a time, withstanding fluctuating temperature changes, quickly learning new systems, having an excellent work ethic, excelling in a quick-paced environment, and being okay with shifting job duties.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
1+ year of warehouse experience (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, loading/unloading trucks)
Good communication skills
Basic computer knowledge
Forklift experience

Responsibilities

Picking (primarily on foot with a cart), packing, shipping/receiving, loading/unloading, checking in materials, put-aways/stocking materials, forklift operation (sit-down propane), palletizing, skid wrapping, team and individual lifting, cleaning/general housekeeping, and other warehouse duties as needed.
Lift and lower packages that may weigh up to 70 pounds, using proper lifting and lowering techniques.
Maintain an excellent customer focus attitude.
