About The Position

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to manage incoming and outgoing shipments of tires and related inventory. This role is crucial for maintaining workflow and efficiency across various departments, including shipping, sales, pickup & delivery (P&D), and service. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong organizational skills, the ability to operate material-handling equipment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to lift and move tires and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance.
Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Overtime may be required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Tire or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
Forklift experience a plus (training available if needed).

Responsibilities

Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of tires and related inventory.
Work closely with shipping, sales, pickup & delivery (P&D), and service departments.
Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Assign tasks to team members as needed to maintain workflow and efficiency.
Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Foster teamwork and maintain strong communication with coworkers.
Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
