About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 1st shift. This role involves performing material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. The associate will operate a forklift, overhead crane, and construction tools, ensuring that work assignments and customer orders are completed safely, accurately, timely, and without damage. This position also requires assisting co-workers and customers, inspecting materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment, and assisting with inventory management activities, including daily updates to the ERP system. Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment and complying with all safety requirements are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location.
Operate a forklift, overhead crane, and construction tools.

Assist co-workers and customers.
Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.

Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
