Warehouse Associate - Farm Store

About The Position

This position will work both within an indoor warehouse setting, but will also be responsible for working outdoors at times to assist with customer needs on deliveries, pick-ups, etc. The role involves supporting Farm Store warehouse operations, assisting with loading/unloading customer pick-ups, deliveries, and vendor orders. You will learn to safely operate a forklift and other equipment to move products and maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment. Responsibilities also include assisting with inventory, stocking, and merchandising warehouse needs, providing customers with friendly and efficient service, and cross-training to support retail responsibilities such as operating a register, stocking, and cleaning. The role requires working an average of 15-20+ hours per week, depending on seasonal demand.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid driver's license
Work safely when operating equipment and helping customers
Effective communication skills both oral and written

Nice To Haves

No minimum education requirement or years of professional experience required
Prefer six (6) months of experience in a retail/warehouse environment providing customer service and operating point of sale equipment
Prefer prior knowledge, working experience or hands-on experience in farming, agriculture, animal health, animal science, planting, gardening, or a related field
