About The Position

Portland Bolt is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily shipping and receiving operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring efficient material handling, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized.

Requirements

• Prior warehouse experience preferred
• Proficiency with handheld scanners and inventory systems
• Strong forklift operating skills (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift experience a must.

• Willingness to obtain forklift certification

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders
• Print and apply labels for incoming goods and outgoing shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
