About The Position

S&S Tire, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer and Commercial Tire Center is seeking to add a warehouse associate to our truck tire team. This position requires manual labor, lifting tires up to 150 lbs. If you are ready to tackle on this challenge, you need to apply today! Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to: Warehouse Receiver tasks - M-F 7am-4:30pm Loads, unloads, checks and tallies tires to and from carriers [trailer trucks]. Selects, packs, counts, marks, palletizes tires of customer orders and places in the assigned staging areas according to bin locator system. Checks and verifies accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting of tires for customer orders. May operate order picker, pallet jacks, and other equipment in the execution of duties. Ensures safety guidelines are met in operating the equipment. Performs required counting, tallying and marking on related inventory control documents. Participates in cycle and/or annual physical inventories. Ensures safety guidelines are met by the proper palletizing, re-palletizing, and restacking of tires. Maintain compliance with procedures and policies.

Requirements

Must have the desire and ability to work in a warehouse environment
Must be able to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance
Frequent bending, twisting and lifting
Proper placement of received products in warehouse
Proper placement of shipping products in warehouse
Must be willing, and have the ability to, to operate all warehouse related equipment
Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience
Good safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
Valid driver's license - in good standing
Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment
Attention to detail
Commitment to being on time
High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Forklift license is a plus
