About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all the fine details in the timely receiving, storage and delivery of warehouse products.

Requirements

• Implementing strategic decisions that govern the need for space apart from unloading and loading freight and providing service to our stores.
• Extremely dexterous
• Operate warehouse equipment
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to bend, twist, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Perform duties in a safe manner, following FFH safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
• Responsible for managing and protecting all inventory and company assets in accordance with company policy against theft and damage.
• Receive work orders from supervisor to pick orders for shipment to FFH stores.
• Able to sort product with 100% accuracy
• Ensure items are fitted together/assembled properly and labeled before being shipped out.
• Label pallets/packages as needed in accordance to labeling procedures provided by FFH.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, high lift, pallet jack and floor cleaning machine.
• Keep warehouse area clean on a consistent basis.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor or company official.
