About The Position

Cardinal Health is seeking Warehouse Associates to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and fulfilling orders, ensuring that customers receive the products they need. This position is crucial to the efficient flow of products from vendors to customers, contributing to Cardinal Health's mission of improving patient care. The role involves a combination of manual and automated tasks related to the storage and shipment of products, including picking, packing, and shipping.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working with heights of 20-30 feet regularly.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write in English to process documents.
Candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome; all training is provided.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with technologies, like computers or point-of-sale systems, is a plus.
High School Diploma/GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Train and become certified to drive material handling equipment as required, such as order pickers, forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.
