About The Position

We're currently hiring a Warehouse Associate 1 for 2nd Shift schedule starting 12:30pm Monday-Friday (occasional overtime).

Requirements

  • Requires standing for long periods of time frequently twisting, turning, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting material up to 50lbs.
  • Must attend all company and department required trainings.
  • Must adhere to company attendance and punctuality policy.
  • Must follow established departmental policies, procedures, objectives and safety standards.
  • Must be certified to operate dolly, pallet jack, pallet rider, and/or forklift while loading supplies and equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Take initiative for identifying areas of improvement within the department and working with management in resolving problems that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Verifying and maintaining records on outgoing and incoming shipments.
  • Preparing documents timely and accurately.
  • Performing a variety of manual checking, summarization, reconciliation, data entry and analysis of data involved in the accurate processing of inventory movements.
  • Reading customer order and shipping order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on pallets or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Sorting and storing perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
  • Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves and conveying orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Marking materials with identifying information as directed.
  • Recording information regarding the amounts of materials or items distributed.
  • Weighing or counting items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Compiling worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
  • Operating designated equipment to transport materials from one location to another.
  • Certified to operate dolly, pallet jack, pallet rider, and/or forklift while loading supplies and equipment.
  • Verifying order accuracy.
  • Rotating and replenishing inventory as directed.
  • Taking initiative for identifying areas of improvement within the department and working with management in resolving problems that arise.
  • Following established departmental policies, procedures, objectives and safety standards.
  • Adhering to company attendance and punctuality policy.
  • Attending all company and department required trainings.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
