About The Position

Corrugated & Rigid Box Plant - Opening for 2nd Shift Warehouse Employee. This is a union manufacturing plant where employees can join the union after 30 working days. The position offers competitive wages and benefits, with a starting wage of $30.78/hr. This is a full-time position available for the 2nd Shift, operating from 2:30 P.M. to 1:00 A.M., Monday through Thursday.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a current Stand Up and Sit Down Lift Truck License
  • Must be able to safely operate Stand Up and Sit Down Lift Trucks
  • Must be able to perform job requirements full-time, with frequent overtime hours as needed
  • Sit or stand on a lift and climb up and down from a lift for the majority of the shift
  • Frequent bending, stretching, squatting, crouching, reaching, pushing, & pulling
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of 20-25 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Must be flexible with job duties assigned
  • Prior to employment, all applicants are subject to a background check, physical, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating Sit Down and Stand Up lifts strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Unload sheet trailers and incoming product
  • Load CPD trailers and customer trucks
  • Pull inventory and stage outgoing product
  • Maintain adequate sheet levels at all machine centers, including set-up and assembly
  • Put inventory into the warehouse from both production and suppliers
  • Operate the Unitizer and pull the production line
  • Responsible for the inventory accuracy during their shift
  • Responsible for all company-issued equipment
  • Ensure safety in and around their operating sections of the docks, warehouse, and production areas
  • Maintain adequate housekeeping levels within the dock loading, unloading, and staging areas
  • Contribute to the general organization of the warehouse
  • Work and communicate well with others at all levels of the company
  • Adhere to all company policies within the plant, including safety, fire, and sanitation rules
